Everybody is different and everybody has a different health profile with different challenges. See this as a tool for reflection with what's going on within.

First steps to taking cell salts for your astrological sign

If you haven't already find out what your astrological chart is. This includes your son sign which most people are familiar with and also your rising or ascendant sign and moon sign. You will need your location of birth and time of birth to determine your rising and moon sign. There are plenty of free websites and applications to find out this information. Consider starting with your rising or ascendant cell salt

H.L. Cornell speaks of the ascendant (rising) sign’s importance in health in his Encyclopaedia of Medical Astrology,

"[The ascendant sign,] determines largely the physical appearance, description of the body, height, weight, the degree of vitality, etc., and is very important to study in connection with health and disease.”

Compare all three cell salts and reflect on which one matches the health challenges you want to address most. It's possible that you will find similarities between your health and each of the different cell salts indicated in your astrological chart. That is OK. Take a moment to consider the set of symptoms that are most bothersome to you either on a daily basis or over the last week. That is the one that you start with.

It is also possible that none of the cell salts in your astrological chart match your unique set of health circumstances. In that case if you're still wanting to try cell salts go for the traditional approach and the original approach for determining cell salts and look at all 12 cell salts to see which one matches your set of circumstances the best.

Common dose protocols for cell salts (taken from Jackson’s Common Cell Salt protocols page)

One cell salt:

  1. Day 1-5: Take 1-3 times per day.
  2. Day 6-7: Rest days (no cell salts).

Two to three cell salts:

  1. Protocol A: Alternate Weeks
    • Week 1:
      • Day 1-5: Cell Salt 1, 1-3 times per day.
      • Day 6-7: Rest days.
    • Week 2:
      • Day 8-13: Cell Salt 2, 1-3 times per day.
      • Day 14-15: Rest days.
    • Repeat as needed. Cycle in others as needed.
  2. Protocol B: Alternate Days
    • Day 1: Cell Salt 1, 1-3 times per day.
    • Day 2: Cell Salt 2, 1-3 times per day.
    • Repeat and adjust as necessary.
  3. Protocol C: Taken Together
    • Day 1-5: Take a ½ dose of each cell salt, 1-3 times per day.
    • Day 6-7: Rest days.
    • Repeat as needed.

Reduce frequency of dosage as symptoms improve. It’s safe to suddenly stop taking and you can start again if symptoms return.
