Capricorn

Capricorn, the goat, Capricornus, the 10th sign of the Zodiac and affiliated with the 10th house. The sun enters Capricorn at the time of the winter solstice. It is night sign of Saturn, the exaltation of Mars, the fall of Jupiter, and the detriment of the moon.

It is a rather weak sign as regards to vitality and especially one on this Eastern horizon at birth. However, the Capricorn people do not yield readily to disease. The sun is weak in Capricorn but tends to longevity. The moon is weak in the sign in which tends to uncertain and irregular functions.

Capricorn is a cardinal, changeable, and earthy sign and represents ambition, responsibility, and pragmatism. It is a strong business sign, and the Capricorn people are usually full of business, promotion and many of their ailments result from business anxiety, cares, or losses. The Goat symbolizes persistence, practicality, and the ability to climb to great heights despite challenges.
