Cell Salt #2: Calcium Phosphate (Calcarea Phosphorica)

Overview: This cell salt works with proteins to transport nutrients to bone tissue and other parts of the body as needed. It uses protein to help build bone structure.

Bones are made up of about 57% calcium phosphate, with the rest consisting of gelatin, proteins, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium phosphate, and sodium chloride. Without calcium phosphate, bones cannot form properly.

Calcium phosphate is also found in gastric juice, and an imbalance can lead to indigestion.

This salt enhances the effects of magnesium phosphate, as it shares many similarities with it. If magnesium phosphate is indicated but doesn't restore normal function within a reasonable time, calcium phosphate should be used. It's likely that calcium phosphate is drawn from the bloodstream to support magnesium phosphate, leading to a deficiency of this essential mineral.

Symptoms and Conditions: Symptoms usually worsen at night, in damp or cold weather, or after getting wet. Improvement is often seen in warm conditions or when in a warm environment.
