Cell Salt #4: Ferrum Phosphate (Ferrum Phosphoricum)
Overview: Ferrum phosphate gives blood its red color and plays a crucial role in transporting oxygen throughout the body, providing the energy necessary for life. Maintaining a proper balance of iron in the bloodstream is essential for good health. When this cell salt is deficient, blood circulation increases as the body tries to deliver enough oxygen to tissues, leading to faster heart rates. The discomfort associated with fever is often due to a lack of iron molecules, which results in insufficient oxygen. This imbalance can disrupt the effectiveness of other cell salts.
A deficiency of ferrum or an unbalanced level in the bloodstream can also lead to conditions like colds. Ferrum phosphate is the primary remedy for any inflammatory condition, regardless of its specific diagnosis.
Symptoms and Conditions: Most issues related to this salt tend to have a congestive nature and are relieved by cold while worsening with movement. Applying cold directly to congested areas can provide noticeable relief. If inflammation is deep within the body, using heat can help reduce swelling in deeper blood vessels.
