Cell Salt #7: Kali Sulph (Potassium Sulfate)

Overview: The “suffocating feeling” and “desire for cool air” that are characteristic of Kali Sulph are linked to a deficiency of this cell salt. Without enough potassium sulfate, the skin struggles to function properly. The pores can become constricted and dry out, leading to symptoms associated with Kali Sulph. In a healthy state, the skin emits tiny jets of steam through its millions of pores. When these pores are blocked, it can lead to significant disturbances.

You may wonder why a lack of potassium sulfate results in an increase in temperature during the afternoon, which persists until around midnight. This happens because potassium sulfate molecules act as oxygen carriers. Our breathing tends to deepen during sleep compared to when we are awake, enriching the blood with oxygen. People deficient in potassium sulfate often struggle to sleep until exhaustion sets in, as their bodies continuously signal for this essential salt. Around midnight, they finally fall asleep due to fatigue, which promotes deep breathing and opens the pores. This allows for better blood circulation and the release of body heat through natural channels. Upon waking, it can take time to close the pores and resolve the distinctive symptoms, hindered by impaired breathing from the lack of this salt.

Symptoms and Conditions: Symptoms worsen in warm rooms or during the evening but improve in cool, open air. Temperature tends to rise in the evening until midnight.
