TAURUS
The Winged Bull of the Zodiac
Dates: April 20 to May 20
Governing Planet: Venus
Gems: Moss agate and emerald
Astral Colors: Red and lemon yellow
Ancient people were not "primitive"; humanity has always existed in some form, and truth is eternal, without a beginning.
The Winged Bull of Nineveh represents the idea that all solid substances are essentially materialized air. Although Taurus is categorized as an earth sign, it symbolizes that our earthly existence is derived from air elements. This concept was understood by scientists thousands of years ago, who depicted their zodiac sign with wings.
People born between April 20 and May 20 can either immerse themselves deeply in materiality or reach great spiritual heights. As Taurus native Edwin Markham eloquently wrote:
"It is a vision waiting and aware,
And you must bring it down, oh, men of worth,
Bring down the New Republic hung in air
And make for it foundations on the Earth."
Air is essential for blood production. When we breathe, air is transformed into blood, combining with mineral salts to create the vital essence of life.
The cell salt sodium sulphate (Nat. sulph.) aligns with the traits of Taurus individuals, connecting to the cerebellum and neck.
A deficiency in sodium sulphate can lead to discomfort, such as headaches and liver issues. This salt is usually the first to show signs of deficiency in Taurus natives.
Sodium sulphate is crucial for removing excess water from the body. In hot weather, we inhale humid air, which can lead to excess moisture in the blood. One molecule of sodium sulphate can carry away two molecules of water, helping to keep our bodies balanced.
Many ailments related to bile or malaria are actually chemical responses due to insufficient sodium sulphate. Chills and fevers occur as the body’s way of expelling excess water through muscle and vascular spasms. If the blood is properly balanced, these symptoms shouldn’t arise.
In biblical symbolism, Taurus is linked to Asher, the eighth son of Jacob, representing blessings and happiness. In the New Testament, Taurus corresponds to the disciple Thaddeus, whose name signifies strength and love.
